I have been curious as to how the member status (I have no idea if that's the correct term) is determined (the "Junior Member," "Senior Member," etc.). Is is just a personal-favour based thing, or is there a more scientific method?

The rank is determined by the number of posts. But I don't know the minimum number of posts for each rank... and it was set up by the Big Chief (Mickey)

0 - 29 posts and you have the title of "Junior Member".
30 (99 or 100) posts and you have the title of "Member".
More than 100 (or 101) posts and you have the title of "Senior Member".

Moderator's default to a title of "Super Moderator" and they have the ability to change their user title to anything they want.

And a while back, people would be posting so often that they'd be "Members" very quickly.
