I'm BLIND, Mickey. Add Honolulu to the list. Geez. I looked at Pearl Harbor more than once, but never looked over at Honolulu. I got it from that quiz you mentioned. I'll have the other answers shortly.

    #1) Ponza, Italy
    #2) still looking
#3) Would be Vanuatu, an island chain including Pentecost Island, the one referred to. I can't find the harbor/airport they have in the picture though.

Ah! #2, the volcano is at Rabaul. I had the right area and was looking for it and the harbor in the other picture. I've still not found the harbor. I think they're taking liberties about what islands are in the chain they're talking about because I didn't see updates around Pentecost Island. I'm looking more to the west now.

They seem to have changed the colors of a huge chunk of the world. I have a file with imbedded snapshots of the current view of that placemark...and almost all of them show the same thing with different colors..indicating a color change. Australia is an obvious one, but there's alot more then I previously thought.

Lightbulb Gabon, Africa under clouds since long

Hi, I works in Oyem, north of Gabon, Africa ( 1░35'51N, 11░34'58).

And I would like see the hospital where I works and the village and the vicinity and show them to the kids and people there and my friends here in Canada. But since 2004, threre is the same clouds and shadow all over the area.

I know this area is the birthplace for clouds (...) .

but is it possible that some pictures are free of clouds in the whole banks of pictures since that time ?.

Hope this the good forum for asking update imagery.

    thanks

Welcome to the forums, but sadly no, there is no forum where one can request imagery.

This website isn't connected to Google other than that we enjoy using Google Earth. We're not a part of their company.

Google has no forum where people can request imagery. They simply work at adding more and more of the world when they can buy the images and get them inserted.

They patched in a large section of imagery a while back. I don't think there's any changes. After putting in the changes, somebody went back and color-balanced the imagery, but that too was a while ago I think.
