    Default Date format

    Hi

Is there any Google Earth Hacks (site/forum) option to change the display format of dates from the current MM/DD/YY (month/date/year) to as an exampel DD/MM/YY (date/month/year) or YY/MM/DD (year/month/date) ?

I cannot see anything in the user control panel or in the lower levels of the admin area.

Take a look at reply 8 in this thread - http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=66453 - That was the official vBulletin thought process in 2003.

Hopefully Mickey will check in on this, it seems silly to not allow the users their preferred mm/dd/yy format.

There is an option for me to change the setting forum-wide, but not individually. I agree that this is a bad way for them to have it set.

If we have a consensus on changing to a different format, I'd be fine with that.

I have no problem having consensus with myself prefering the format DD/MM/YY (date/month/year) or YY/MM/DD because they are 'pure' ascending or decending. I must admit I do not like the format MM/DD/YY since the second most changed is the first and the most changed is the second... Anybody who can tell me the logic of that apart from old 60'ties mainframe punchcard requirements is appreciated.

Could I suggest a vote on the issue?
