    Default Uluru/Ayers Rock shading

When viewing Uluru/Ayers Rock, AUS - - at about a 40 mile elevation, there is a shaded block around the area that obscures the image somewhat. Is there a way to remove it?

Not sure what you mean. Looks fine to me.

Or are you talking about the fact that the area of the rock is shaded a little lighter than the surrounding lands. That's because higher resolution aerial photography was used for that area than the surrounding areas.

Either way, not much you can do about it.

Clear your cache. I get it too after awhile.
