Default Removing Snippets in KML Code

I regularly use a conversion tool to convert shapefiles to kml. The tool defaults to a snippet maxLine = 2. I know how to find and remove snippets for each feature in a KML document. I would like to be able to modify the entire document with one command line so that I don't have to locate every snippet tag for each feature. Is there a "global" snippet command? If so, what are the tags and where do I place them in the document? Thanks for any advice!

You would have to do a search/replace with a text editor.
