JVA Moabit (Prison), Berlin, Germany
This correctional facility is truly "old-school", build in the late 19th century. It is built in the so-called "pan-optical-system" which means the guards are sitting in the centre and have visual access to all five blocks/houses at any time.
Novelist Hans Fallada wrote his famous novel "Wer einmal aus dem Blechnapf ***" while detained in Moabit.
The 3 "***" in the novel┤s title are due to the fact that the word "a▀" (engl.: "ate") equals the other word for one┤s "bottom" in English if spelled with double "s" (a_s_s_). GEH parental advisory bot marked it out, but it┤s completely harmless. :-)
If you would have used the correct title ("Wer einmal aus dem Blechnapf fri▀t"*), no *** would appear
Verdammt! Da will man schon bi▀chen intellel rŘberkommen und dann DAS! Du hast vollkommen recht.
In English: He┤s absolutely right. From now on I will quote the title correctly (especially since I visit that prison 2-3 times a week...)
This is what happens in the heat of the battle (e.g. "rapidly creating .kmz" with this wonderful program for this excellent site)
