    Default Switcheroo discussion

This is a discussion thread for the following file:

    Switcheroo

I presume that this is an error in satellite picture placement, the road has switched places with some of the dirt next to it. Toll Road 241 in Orange County, CA.

    Exclamation New Satellite Imagery

I think this may have been fixed due to being replaced by new satellite imagery.

True, you can see your original find by moving the timeslider back to 23Oct, 2007

Thanks from me too. I just wonder if they're going to update more imagery for the rest of socal? It would be nice... and I wonder if that information could be found out anywhere?

Google (Earth) has an official blog at Google Lat Long Blog where they have started to publish a .kml file with updated areas when they do so. Also very recommendable is the Google Earth Blog where they are very good at tracking and publish information about all kind of updates to the imagery (and about Google Earth in generel).
