Default We will build bridges anywhere in Australia discussion

This is a discussion thread for the following file:

We will build bridges anywhere in Australia

The Mooney Mooney Creek Bridge is one of the most spectacular on any highway in Australia, crossing the creek 75m above water level, spanning 480m from cliff to cliff and taking 3 and a half years to build. It was opened to traffic in October 1983.

[check here for a picture of the bridge: http://www.googleearthhacks.com/foru...ead.php?t=1504 -admin]

Actually Admin this is an accurate representation of the bridge as I have driven over it thousands of times. The other site is an optical illusion, and there are lots of them when you use the tilt control!

It is a fairly accurate representation of the actual bridge. I've driven down the hill and up the other side. I know that any Australians who have driven from Sydney to Newcastle will back up my comments.

I've driven over this bridge many times, and while GE exaggerates the bends a little, it does go up & down like that

Steeefan, Would it be possible to change your Admin note so GE hackers don't think this is the same oddity as the other post, but more importantly, to draw GE hackers attention to araT's fantastic photo in the discussion thread?

I edited both the description of the file and the initial post of this thread.

Many thanks Steeefan. My complements on the article in "Focus" by the way.
