Added Honolulu, Fresno, Galt, Placerville, Hemet/San Jacinto, and Palm Springs.
I also finished the Los Angeles area update and did a lot of work on the one around San Francisco. The shapes around San Francisco are getting complex and will probably end up needing to be merged differently, as well as combined with Contra Costa.
Added to California: Auburn, Santa Clarita, Lake Tahoe, and Malibu.
Finished the update on the area north of LA around Oxnard.
Combined the areas near San Francisco into a single polygon and then placed another one over the bay waters that aren't image to note that fact.
That should be California done with new additions. There are some boundaries I should check because they probably expanded, I want to get new cities into the file. I'll probably be doing the Arizona additions next.
Fort Worth, TX
La Chaux de Fonds, Switzerland
New Braunfels, TX
Tuscon, to cover the Rancho del Lago addition
I was interested to look for the listings of places and cities in India on GM 45. Does anybody have information about the same. Thanks for the good post.
Currently there are no 45 degree images for any city in India. Hopefully they have a source for them and will start adding them. They would probably start with large cities like Mumbai or New Delhi, but might pick a city with more cultural or historical sites like Agra. I've not heard anything to suggest that they're in the process of adding anything yet though.
Google map 45 Degree
Google has granted all Google Maps users the ability to view aerial photos taken at a 45░ angle. Just zoom in at one of the supported locations and youĺll get a better view than you could before.
The feature was previously only available to developers and as part of Labs for Google Maps, a set of work-in-progress features that you had to opt in to. Now anyone who uses Google Maps can see the aerial images
You can change which direction you're facing
You can change which direction you're facing by grabbing the OUTER edge of the compass in the upper left of the image.
Thank you for your sharing, New information I've got
