The following steps will do it:

    - First, get the view the way you like it (probably zoomed in tight).
    - In Google Earth, click on "Add" then "Placemark". Put the placemark on the plane, change the icon if you want, and give it a proper name.
    - The placemark will appear in your "My Places" list on the left side of the screen.
    - Right-click on the placemark you just created and choose "Save As".
    - Choose a location on the hard drive for your file and give it a name.
    - This will produce a ".kmz" file that has the info in it.

At this point you have two options:

1 - Go to our files area and submit the file into the proper place there.
or 2 - Attach the file to a post here in the message board. In the case of your plane, I'd say come back to this thread and say something like "I figured it out!" and attach the file on that post.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

    Thanks,
    Mickey

I approved it and add a screenshot, so it's good to go.

Also, I created a new category to handle submissions like that. I didn't feel it was really "sightseeing", as it's not a well known place like Hoover Dam, the Pyramids, Mt. Everest, etc, but it's still a cool thing to include. Let me know what you think.
