Question Extracting data, producing reports from .kmz files

    Hi there,

Excuse my stupidity if this topic has already been covered but I've had a search around and can't find any information.

Is it possible, after plotting a path in Google Earth and saving the result as a .kmz file to produce reports / information about the path that has been plotted.

I'm talking about things like the total distance covered and the cumulative altitude gain along the path. Even better would be if an elevaation or altitude profile of the path could be generated with altitude on the y access and distance on the x axis.

Does anything out there have this functionality?

    Thanks for your time,

    The Kaptain

    Hi Kaptain,

I'm using NH-Top50Trans and TTQV. There are many programs (Freeware and Shareware too) to analyse and present your track data.

    Greetings - Anton
