? - 2 - ?
Sitting down pondering lifes most ponderousable ponderings, I thought up this number sequence, if anyone can crack the next number in the sequence and tell me exactly why, I will deposit 50 ... nah, 100 ... nah *150* geos into their account!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the sequence is 1 - 7 - 4 - 5 - 6 - ?
Blitzkrieg the honorable.
not that easy..... sounds like a guess, I want to also know why, first clue ..... it is a one digit number....
Bonus payment now 200 geos!
9, nina, niner
I can guess aswell....
I need to know why.
number and reason.
I think it's 1 because the sequence is 1,7,4,5,6 so the next is 1,7,4,5 and then 6 again ---------- of course that is wrong, but I need an answer and a reason before I part with the fruits of my labour!
Think people - 200 geos!
i think its "0" because that makes it a symmetrical pattern if you look at the top row of numbers on your keyboard .
well i just dont like math and stick to a simple solution .
Good thinking outside the square, but that's not right.
The simple solution
How bout 4, 1+7=8, 4+5=9, 6+(4)=10
its a 9 because then its a huge prime number ^^
mah, im bored and have nothing else to do so dont bother my "solutions"
hmmmm I like it - wrong though.
I will give another clue in about 12 hours and will decrease the bonus if not found by then.
hmm lets try a conventional pattern:
if you pair up the numbers you get 1-2 7-6 4-5. they differ just by 1 and alternate in the higher/lower value.
Allow me to stuff up your line of thought....
the answer is still the same with this sequence,
infact any combination of 1-7-4-2or3or5-6or9or0-leaving only 8 as the answer. Now ... why?
I will reveal answer tomorrow morning my time. 200 geos to first correct answer or a big fat 0 to all .
No more prompting from me, unless I see someone correct by now to 11 hours time from the time of this post. All clues given.
blitzkrieg the honourable
Ok, this is kinda simple, and somewhat random, but I saw that you jumped six numbers from 1-7, went back half way to 4 and counted to six. So, my guess is that you continue the pattern by jumping to 12.

And my explanation? Because I'm in your alliance.
How's that for a 'why'?
