    Default kmz files

I have downloaded a kmz file, the content of which is rather ad hoc as opposed to being in an alphabetical order.
Is it possible to desonstruct a kmz file please and if so how is it done?
    regards
    Tony

A kmz file is actually a zipped kml file, so you can open it from within winzip (or rename the extension from .kmz to .zip). The kml file within the kmz archive can be opened with notepad and edited.
