Does anyone know why the plane is beside the runway? Is it parked or displayed there?

It's there maybe because they left it to rust since they are prohibited from flying
Remember what movie these are from? I bet you don't!
"You do well in school?"---"Yeah"---"Good, so did I, that's what they call a paradox"

"How's your mother?"---"Oh... I'm afraid she's on her way out."---"We all are. Act accordingly."

    Wink Concorde off course

I think it's taking off. There is a similar shot at Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris, (not a Concorde) but a plane taking off and appearing to be parked on the side. This plane has a distinct shadow (seen across the runway) though, unlike Concorde in which the sun was probably in a different position.

Then of course it may have missed the runway when landing and didn't tell anyone at the time!

But this one is parking, because the runway is closed until the crosswind reaches more then 20 kts.

    Default Wonky Concorde

You're right Mac, it is parked up.
Take note of the runway it's on (23). That runway is only used in high crosswinds. You can see a plane landing on runway 09Left from the west so Concorde cannot possibly be landing or taking off.
    Could be a cigarette break(!)
