Default Stadsman Day and Night Overlay

I tried to download the above mentioned overlay. The download itself went okay, and I see the KMZ shortcut on my desktop; but when I click on it, I don't see the earth in a "night and day" format with the shadowline along the sphere of the earth like I was expecting.

I only see the standard Google Earth globe thats lit up all around (as though the sun shone on the whole earth 24 hours a day).

What did I do wrong? Is this program "out of service", or is there an extra step I must take in order to activate it?

    Thanks.

    Default same as above

Well, disregard my above question. I didn't realize that the "Night and Day" box needed to be clicked on in the "my places" section. Now that I've done that, I can see the earth in half daytime and half nighttime.

However, I'm curious how accurate it is? To the minute, or updated only every half hour or hour?

Does it refresh on its own, or do I have to exit the earth program and go back in to see the shadow line advance from east to west?

    Thanks again.

By the way, is there a way to edit my own posts?
