    Massive localised ravines in Africa

    Thought this looked pretty cool, over 4km long and in parts loks really deep. Must be some rare species down there! Quite a few more in ther surrounding area too!

    Zoom in about 6000ft off the ground level, and then tilt down to a horizontal view. It's a rock, Monte Madjaa. Craters often appear to be elevations and vice-versa in GE; trick of perspective. Try this...Meteor Crater in Arizona, aka Barringer Carter, Diablo Crater, etc...by way of contrast.

    If you like big holes how about this one. The Kimberley Hole started out as a hill. Someone discovered diamonds and now it is the biggest hole physically dug by men in the world.
