Attachments aren't allowed for new posters due to recent problems with spammers uploading inappropriate content. Post count requirement is I believe 5, not sure though. For now put down the coordinates.

    Unhappy Tired Old Warhorse

New here guys, so not allowed to post attachments yet.
Here's a gate guardian (of sorts) that's been there for what seems like forever. Makes me sad to see the way this once master of the skies has been abused and forgotten.
South bound side of A1 at Newark - lightning in scrapyard (i think).

    Angry Should'nt Be Allowed

What a very very sad sight, never ever seen it from that close up, only ever from the A1 as i was passing - what a real shame

    Cool Not Military But...

Another one for you guys - as the title says, not military but on what is (or was - not quite sure) United Nations Headquarters at Nicocia airport.
I was part of the team responsable for towing this old lady out of the hanger directlly ahead (cant remember the year - late 1980's i think) the plan was for the hanger to be coverted into a gymnasium - she was in the way !!!
She's a very sorry sight, riddled with bullet holes after the Turk invasion. Each hole having a white painted, numbered circle to do with insurance claims (so i was told). The aircraft is just a bare shell, which never failed to amaze me - how nobody ever spotted the locals walking past with the odd jet engine on the back of their donkey !!!
Pulled out of the hanger after much huffing and puffing using 2 bedford light recovery vehicles. I have photos somewhere.
