Default A long train in central Canada discussion

This is a discussion thread for the following file:

A long train in central Canada

The train is over 460 meters long, and it is located in Canada near a really small town or better a village.

It doesn't seem to be a train as I can't see any locomotives - looks like just a long cut of cars sitting on a siding.

It's 1525' long though, but railroads do store cars in the thousands just like this all over the country.

This is Saskatchewan. Major commodities in the area would be wheat and potash. Wheat is seasonal, therefore in the off season there are a lot of covered hoppers to store. That said, I don't think this is a cut of grain cars. You'd see at least one of the very colourful blue or red cars.
