Default Would like to meet KML programmer for project...

    Hi all,

I work for a company called Hyper (www.hyperhappen.com). We are currently doing some work for a major film distributor and want to show a poster for the film at one location on Google Earth.

We are looking for a KML developer to do this work for us. We need to understand what assets we would need to supply, the time it would take and the related costs.

We need to move quickly (ie: complete project this week) so please can you reply if you are interested /available?

My contact details are below. We work out of London so anyone based in London is preferable but not essential.

    Thanks, Ruth

Ruth, I'm not sure what you are looking for. An overlay of your movie poster in Times Square or Red Square? That is simple, even hypeserver could do that.

Interesting website, I like the link to Isolatr.

I agree wit Tom, but I hope you don't meet in person, because law enforcement officials watch that stuff closely and they might suspect you of something, so e-mail might be better
Remember what movie these are from? I bet you don't!

    Default KML programmer

Hi there, thanks for replying. We're looking for something a bit more complex - we want to actually create a 3D building and wrap the movie poster around it.

Not sure if this is even possible yet?

We can overlay the poster flat no problem but we're looking for it to be represented in a more integrated, 3D way.....

    Thoughts?

    Thanks in advance.

Ah - I am beginning to understand. There are a number of 3D whizzes here on GEH, hopefully one will pipe in today.

Look at this file - http://www.googleearthhacks.com/dlfi...onica-Pier.htm

A 3D structure was made using lots of different colors. Depending on the complexity of your movie poster, maybe a building could be built using enough colors that it would have that 'wrapped' appearance.

Maybe you can choose to fill the 3D object with the movie poster instead, I don't know how because I use the free version
