    Denied as requested

Software is like entropy. It is difficult to grasp, weighs nothing, and obeys the second law of thermodynamics; i.e., it always increases.

Could you please delete the following files from the website:

One is unapproved, so just deny it

    The two files are:

Matts Sports Teams, posted Feb 17, 2009 by mburton06, posted in various, other sports venues

Matts Sports Teams: posted March 2, 2009 (Unapproved file), posted in various, other sports venues

    Thank you,

    Matthew Burton

    Done.

I accidentally hit the approve button on the new file, and went with it. I deleted your old file (it had ~50 downloads) and approved your new one. It should appear on the front page.

    Default Delete File

    GE Hacks,

http://www.gearthhacks.com/dlfile317...--Updated.htm- can you please delete this file. This is the new file that was approved accidentally.

    Thanks,

    M Burton

P.S. Maybe you could put something on the website for updating over previously downloaded files or having the user delete and upload their own files. This file is constantly changing and I hate to upload a new one every time i make changes.

Why would I delete that? That's the correct file, and If I deleted it, you would have Zero (0) files uploaded...

Although, you're asking. Are you SURE you want to delete your only, correct file?

Make it a network link. That way every time you change it, it'll change accordingly.

I think the issue with people being allowed to edit their files after they've uploaded it is they can then just change their uploaded file to anything, be it a virus, inappropriate images or whatnot. I'm sure most people wouldn't do that, but that's not to stop one person from ruining it for the rest of us.

Yes, I do want to delete the file. I will upload a newer one when I'm done editing it. How do I make it a network link?
