These cars parked close to the famous Needles.

That's pretty weird. Maybe the Needles are magnetic?

    WOW cars!

I was under the impression that the Isle of Wight didn't even have electricity yet, let alone modern automotive transport. Maybe they'll catch us mainlanders after all.

Though I'm pretty sure I'm right in thinking they're yet to encounter the internet.

"Purple Haze all in my brain,
lately things don't seem the same,
actin' funny but I don't know why
'scuse me while I kiss the sky.

    Purple Haze all around,
don't know if I'm coming up or down.
Am I happy or in misery?
Whatever it is, that girl put a spell on me.

Purple Haze all in my eyes,
don't know if it's day or night,
you've got me blowing, blowing my mind
is it tomorrow or just the end of time?"
Remember what movie these are from? I bet you don't!
"You do well in school?"---"Yeah"---"Good, so did I, that's what they call a paradox"

"How's your mother?"---"Oh... I'm afraid she's on her way out."---"We all are. Act accordingly."

Topically, Hendrix played his last gig on the IOW, before he infamously took a big old breath of his own acid induced multicloloured yawn.

    I wonder what that's like...?
