You can make it smaller by coding, e.g.:

    HTML Code:
    <img src="http://www.server.com/flag.jpg" width="120" height="75">

Using html code to resize an image is a big no no. I think I'll just wait until the CIA or BBC put out a smaller version. I'll fix the other Bulgaria Link as well.

Greenland and Faroe Islands turned out not to have very much information and were not considered nations by a lot of sites but I went ahead and added them anyway. I am still debating what to do with teritories and commonwealths etc. Google Earth does not always show the boundaries for them like Akrotiri.

    Red face GE_Meta_Atlas update

This file attempts to bring together an extensive collection of quality resources for each country including Montenegro. Territories, protectorates and other non-sovereign locations were for the most part skipped at this time. The sources include when available:
    The Country's Government
    Mission to the UN
    Flag
    BBC Country Profile
    CIA World Fact Book
    Library of Congress Country Study
    Google News
    Google Images
    Human Rights Watch
    World Trade Organization
    National TV

These sources have been picked to provide several points of view, stability of the website quality and scope of information.

Any Comments or suggestions for improvement should go to Phil Reynolds henrytilney@gmail.com

    Update Greenland, Faroe Islands.
    Update Bulgaria

Update I changed the Country flages into placemark icons and added the U.S. Department of State's Background notes for each country.

    Exclamation wikipedia as a source

I went ahead and included Greenland and Faroe Islands but I am reluctant to trust Wikipedia as a source over the BBC and the CIA World Fact Book. In a recent study by Nature Wikipedia had a 48% error rate in its facts. Britannica also lists Greenland as a dependency of Denmark. http://search.eb.com/eb/article-9037977?query=greenland&ct=eb The fact that they have their own flag is not really relevant since American Samoa and Peurto Rico also have their own flags.

Lightbulb Meta Atlas Expanded and updated.

GE_Meta_Atlas 2.0 is out. I have expanded the number of sources, updated links and plan to develop a database to facilitate yearly updates. It can be found at:
    http://www.gearthhacks.com/dlfile306...tlas-2.kmz.htm

    GE_Meta_atlas
GE_Meta_Atlas 2.0 This file attempts to bring together and update an extensive collection of quality resources for each sovereign nation from the original GE_Meta_Atlas. Territories, protectorates and other non-sovereign locations are for the most part not included. The data sources include (when available):
    The Country's Government
    Mission to the UN
    Flag
Chiefs of State and Cabinet Members
    BBC Country Profile
US Department of State Background Notes
    CIA World Fact Book
    Library of Congress Country Studies
Diplomatic List of Foreign Diplomats and Offices in the US
    World Bank
    World Trade Organization
    Google News
    Google Images
    Human Rights Watch
    National TV networks
These sources have been picked based on their ability to provide several points of view, a stable website, quality information, and cover a wide scope resources. Any Comments or suggestions for improvement are welcome.
