    Default Road Through Runway discussion

This is a discussion thread for the following file:

    Road Through Runway

This road runs straight through the middle of this runway. Must be kind of awkward and distracting if your driving by and suddenly a huge jumbo jet flies directly over you.

Stapleton International Airport was Denver, Colorado's primary airport from 1929 to 1995. At different times it served as a hub for TWA, People Express, Frontier Airlines and Western Airlines as well as a hub for Continental Airlines and United Airlines when the airport was closed. In 1995, Stapleton was replaced by Denver International Airport. It has now been decommissioned, and redeveloped as a neighborhood.
You search it, I will find it!

I know this conversations a bit old, but atleast McMaster is still around...

Why does Google Earth bother to label this airport (under the airport/transportation layer) if its decommissioned? Doesn't that just add unnecessary clutter?
