    Thanks for this, we used to do earthquakes and stuff in science, and now i can find all the plates and stuff

    I agree. I thought it could be a good teachers guide, especially if they are currently teaching plate tectonics and their students want a visual display.

    OOH! This is sweet!

    I Googled this after watching a CNN vid-article interviewing a USGS rep on the latest Sumatra quake. It talked about the recent Volcanic/earthquake pattern around the world.

    This hack is great, and I love that I can imbed it, but...
    1.) how do I add a field to enter a location to jump to?
    2.) The plate colorings are rather... Opaque. How might I add a slider to vary their intensity?
