There's been another update. I guess I missed some of the previous one like Germany, but Oregon and North Carolina are 100% filled. I believe Nebraska's 100% fill is also new.

There are a lot of other updates. Parts of Boston. Most of Pennsylvania. Portsmouth, UK ...

(did my post get General get deleted?)

    Warsawa , Poland .

Paris , France also looks like it has new imagery . (although only the water looks new and brighter)

Singapore harbour got updated. I lost some of my 1000+ foot ships I'm compiling in a folder..

Also, Qingdao, China got a resolution decrease (the water atleast..).

    Default New update in GE.

According to Google Earth Blog, GE has been updated:

    Germany: Leipzig, Augsburg, Aachen
    Denmark
    France: Le Havre, Nantes, Lyon
    Belfast, UK
    Salzburg, Austria
    Warsaw, Poland
    Saint Louis, MO
    Austin, Tx
    Japan: Tokyo, Nagoya
    Sydney, Australia
Gerardo Paz and I just spent some time and we found some other sites with new high resolution imagery:

Antarctica now has new broad imagery from the Landsat Image Mosaic of Antarctica Project

San Carlos de Bariloche, Argentina - a favorite place of Gerardo's is there
The island of Montserrat - including the new volcano is now in high res. And the terrain is updated to show the new volcano's terrain
The Ile des Saintes, Guadaloupe are now in high res
Canoun and Tobago Cays, in the Grenadines are updated
Dominica is entirely high res now
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think the western part of Virginia was all high res before...?

Yeah, thanks for the information. Finally new data! Waited a long time for something new to explore. Advanced Xmas

Denmark looks a little recoloured but I don't know if there is really new imagery.
My spontaneous GE visits to Le Havre and Leipzig also gave data from spring 2006. Maybe I've partial still old data?

    Default Imagery Update

I've seen a lot of updated tiles. There are scattered ones on Ireland, India, Japan, China, and Russia that I've seen so far.

Note -- almost all of the Russian Northern Fleet is updated except Severomorsk and perhaps Arcangel.

There are updates all over. Sections of British Columbia (Canada) got some nice updates. The main central area of Tokyo got a huge update with some fantastic resolution. It looks like it's Spring as there seem to be cherry trees blossoming. I can tell Osaka got an update because you can now see the ferris wheel on top of the HEP 5 building.

Anyway, enjoy looking around for more updates!

Denmark is now much clearer in colours and more hi-res than before. And what I've examined so far much of the images are new, Copenhagen Sonderjylland and Fyn.

Yup, and a lot more too!

Connecticut is vastly improved, including the submarine base at New London.

    Parts of Philadelphia got updated.

    Deleware is vastly improved.

Most of New Jersey got an update, though I don't think the quality of the image improved.

Cyprus is now 100% and a 'unified' set of tiles for the most part.

Syria is definitely 100% now and also a unified data set.

Frankly, it looks like much of Israel and Palestine and some of the surrounding countries got updates, though I'm not certain how much.

Norfolk, VA got a big update and is vastly improved in quality. It's also much more up to date, meaning I'll have to update my placemark file now.

Hawaii is now 100% completed with decent aerial imagery. Take a look at the steam coming up from the coast on the Big Island where the lava is hitting the ocean.

That's mostly what I've found so far.

There's a section of shoreline on the Gulf of Oman that is now gone. Not sure, but I think a part of the UAE shore also got an update.

    Default Update Eastern U.S.

I have detected an update in the Google Earth data in the Eastern U.S.. My placemarks for Norfolk and Chesapeake show new views - my interest is submarines. No update was detected for the Western U.S. or elsewhere.

If I get around to it, I will post the new GE data beside the old on my submarine tracking website, submarinefinder.com (link to >Recent Developments).

    Find stuff ...its fun!
