There are also a few new New Zealand patches, including one that lies a half mile from a spot I wanted to see! So close, yet so far.

I forgot to mention that I know that Portland, Oregon was changed, and I believe that was in the most recent update and not the one previous to it.

Parts of Taiwan got some updates. The area around Kaohsiung is now in fairly good aerial imagery, although they've censored the military bases there.

So far the only addition I have is that they filled the missing areas around Kunming, China finally.

I checked all of Slady's posted locations and they all definitely seem new...I know for a fact that Lisbon is new (there's a new 1100+ oil tanker there) and that Miami is new (there's a huge cruiseship at the cruise terminal).

Another clue that Lisbon was updated is that a large portion of the Navy base there is now censored. Strangely, only part of it is censored and the other part is in very high, clear resolution.

    Bizarre.

I've still only found that one tiny addition to the list, but I took the time to update my San Diego base placemarks.

ha, wouldn't you know I'd find something after that post. A large portion of northern New Jersey has been updated. You see it as a large patch that almost borders the Hudson River. The areas right along the river didn't get an update as they're in much better images that 'leak' over from Manhattan.

I noticed my old set of placemarks for Teterboro airport aren't valid anymore. I had to check Google Maps to make sure it was a new update, and it is.

Its a shame that the updated images are 4+ years old.

The lower res ones were from 2006, new ones are from 2004.

The estate where my house is is still a farm!!!!
