Default The Great Boulder Chasm discussion

This is a discussion thread for the following file:

    The Great Boulder Chasm

A little known fact about Boulder, CO is the existence of the Great Boulder Chasm. We who live in Boulder are used to dealing with this geological feature during our daily commutes

    Default Great Boulder Chasm

Isn't it great? I've noticed it, too. It runs straight down Baseline (along the 40th parallel) and ends right at the Colorado/Nebraska/Kansas state line. Definitely an interesting obstacle for Boulder commuters as they head out of town.

Thumbs up Time for a float trip

That's groovy, no wonder there's great white water out there.

    Question What the?

Call me ignorant. OK. Don't. But what the heck are you guys talking about? I'm new to this weird map thing, but I love it. I work with GIS/spatial analysis, anyway, and I live in Denver. I've made the commute a zillion times. What is this chasm you're talking about?

    Thanks much.

Oh thanks Tombstone. I was thinking it was one of those Boulder jokes. You know, Independent Republic of Boulder and all.
