Default It has been there for a while

It has been there for a while as the graffiti and some apparently missing pieces indicate. I remember seeing it, but never paid much attention until now. I had to move back up north a few years ago and leave the land of "Eternal Springtime"

La Carolina Park is a very popular place. On weekends the basketball, tennis courts, football/soccer fields, that you can seen next to the plane, are usually full. At the southern end, there is a skateboarding pit next to the paddling pond.

At the intersection of the boulevards, are a couple fairly large shopping malls and several smaller ones. And, if you are tired and hungry from the exercise in the park, follow the direction the plane is pointing to a very nice MacDonald's up there on the corner, in the red brick area by the mall.

My advise, take a tour with Google Earth and then go do it at ground level.
