    Default French Maginot line discussion

This is a discussion thread for the following file:

    French Maginot line

1940 Maginot line forts and bunkers implementation sector by sector (exception for Sarre sector still incomplete).

    All names are in French.

    Updated: 08.03.06

    Updated: 22.08.06

This update includes now high res overlays for every forts and single bunkers as far as they're not in google high res.
It includes also full detail armament and photos (when available).

Flandres, Escaut Maubeuge, Ardennes, Montmedy and Crusnes sector are complete with exception of Marville sub-sector.

Work is still going on for others sectors. Some bunkers in Ardennes and Montmedy sectors are not overlayed for location informations about them were missing or too uncertain.

Ok, so I'm gonna delete those 2 updates which you want deleted, and I'm gonna update this file. That means i'm replacing this file with the update, and deleting all the "update" files. K?

    Default Ligne Maginot Update

    Hello,

That's sounds good to me for the actual available file (replacements-836606_French_[72196].kmz) that i've downloaded is now OK.

Many thanks BRIXMIS .... but i'm stil far from the end.

I hope that GE will have all France borders in high-res very soon so that the file will be much easier to load in one shot.... and let me go much cooler without any more overlays.

    enjoy it !
