Best Plays/Worst Plays

Post your best plays/worst plays, or talk about your best games/worst games.

Best Half: 21 points in the first half (only 3 in the second half though)
Worst game: 3 lost fumbles, only won by one lucky touchdown
Best play: Ran for like 60 yards for a touchdown
Worst play: Let the computer score a touchdown from like 40 yards..

I've got a worst game for you. I decided I needed to reclaim my #1 rank on the Top Players list. Instead of climbing, I fell to third.

I got whooped, 27-3.

Much better, but I'm still in third.

FYI - The top players are sorted by wins minus losses. In your case, your total is 3 (3 wins minus 0 losses). Me and theberb are both 2 (4 wins minus 2 losses).

The secondary sort is on total offense. He has more yards than I do, so he gets the tiebreaker into second place.

Wost game:
Lost 21-7
First play, they returned a punt and got a touchdown. Then, everytime I got within range for a touchdown, I either had a fumble or an interception...4 times!!
They also managed to score 2 touchdowns on throws from like their own 20 yard line, even with me covering passes. Was...very sad.

That's just bad luck. Playing cover helps cut down on the odds of a pass going all the way. The only thing that helps more is to play "safe". However, a "safe" defense will give up a much higher completion pct.

For the last 5 games...every time I throw a pass, its an interception..so I've switched to only running. Oh well..
=)

And..I lost a few games in a row, because every time I was within 30 yards of field goal, I either fumbled or threw an interception..
