Ohh dear...this plane is landing...but theres ALREADY a plane on the runway. Can you say...crash?

I can't tell if you're joking around, but it doesn't look like it. er, not an accident though. As with so many other airports when using aerial imagery, the runway has been shot at different points in time. Not only that, but it's a mix of two different image types.

The aircraft in flight is within a satellite image, as can be determined by the movement ghost. Note the change of color and water texture just short of the runway threshold. (also noting the change in image quality) That's the boundary of the satellite image and the aerial imagery. You can bet that boundary spans quite a few days, if not years.

Looking at the runway, the United 737 on the threshold itself is preparing to take off. Note the shadow shows it on the ground. They don't touch down until they're past the lines. (this is reinforced by the dark rubber marks on the runway) The American Airlines aircraft took off before the United aircraft entered the runway, but because the aerial imagery is made of such small tiles, it's a similar illusion to when a single aircraft is imaged multiple times.

No accidents, just images stitched together to cause an illusion.
