This is a discussion thread for the following file:
Nanaimo Virtually Downtown, British Columbia View downtown Nanaimo in 3 dimensions. Nanaimo (2001 pop. 73,000) is the second largest city on Vancouver Island in BC, British Columbia, Canada. It has been dubbed the "Bathtub Racing Capital of the World". It is about 55 km west of Vancouver, separated by the Strait of Georgia, but directly linked to Vancouver via BC Ferries. It is the seat of the Nanaimo Regional District. For best viewing, make sure that you turn on the Terrain group in Google Earth, and in your preferences choose to open URLs in a new window. This is one of a series of local data sets that I'm working on putting online using Safe Software's (www.safe.com) new support for KML.
