So it IS a Porsche! I knew I'd seen it, and the thing was driving me nuts. I tried looking at Porsche car listings and gave up thinking I must be nuts and tried looking at other makers, only to give up eventually.

Actually it's a VW-Porsche, a built-by-VW-with-Porsche-knowhow-car, or short: a flop
