Default Google Earth update available

The first update to Google Earth is now available. This will take you to version 3.0.0395. You can download the update here:

http://desktop.google.com/download/earth/GoogleEarth-0395.exe
(The file is around 10.3 MB)

Just download the file and run it. It will say something like "This will update you from version 3.0.xxxx to version 3.0.0395". It'll run for a few seconds, and that's it!

There are no major changes to the program, but a lot of little bug fixes. A full list of the updates made to the program can be found here.

Enjoy!

I'm a happy boy - look at this from the full list of updates:

Cosmetic Changes
----------------
- ctrl-Z as an accelerator for click-n-zoom mode was confusing
too many people (who were trying to undo), removed it.
I consider that more than cosmetic

Default Borders Layer gone haywire

I just upgraded to 3.0.0395. When you turn on the Borders layer, it goes haywire. Is anyone else noticing this?

Not here. I just turned on borders to test, and they look normal...

No problems with borders here. GEarth 3.0.0395 did act silly until I cleared the cache (Tools --> Options --> Cache --> Clear Disk Cache) - if that doesn't work, try logging out and deleting the cache.

Default New version border problem

The border problem is still occuring. I've uninstalled the new Google Earth free version a number of times and nothings changed. Its requesting me to use the Direct x mode. Attached is a word file with the print screen of the border problem. The roads file is actually also going haywire.
Thanks for any help.

Default Upgrade default setting crash Dell Latitude

I just installed the update about 45 min ago on my Dell w/an ATI card.
- no updates available from MSupdate

As the program zoomed in to the new paraglider photo I got a blue screen.

After six more BSODs I found that if I simpley tell it load images in the safe mode the crashes cease - so far.

The trade off according to the program is that I will only see outlines of polygons. I don't see what this means - the Statute of Liberty overlay looks fine.
