Default Tracking the Remains of Iridium 33 and Cosmos 2251 discussion

This is a discussion thread for the following file:

Tracking the Remains of Iridium 33 and Cosmos 2251

Here's a nice find from OrbitingFrog.com, showing the pathes of the debris from the collision of Iridium 33 and Cosmos-2251 (2009/02/10). Enjoy!

it looks like an oversimplified childish attempt at a cartoon with no basis in the real world of physics

You, Sir or Lady, may be an ignorant, but if you really look after the facts of the collision (they were published on some really creditable websites and blogs, BTW) you'll see that those guys who are after this file are NO childish people and, yes, most of those blog-keepers are astronomers or at least people with a solid scientific background.

thanks, moderator emeritius, the above remark was every bit as crude and unimaginative as the unrealistic cartoon above, it only served to vent someones anger and in no way did it express any sound arguments to refute my claims
