Antipode Map

I'm sure all of you in here are able to calculate antipode coords,
but here i found a neat map to visualize them immidiately:

That is pretty neat. I had no idea what an antipode was, much less how to calculate one.

If anyone else doesn't know what antipode is and is up for a short mental challenge, instead of doing a search for antipod, follow Martin's link and see if you can figure it out in under 60 seconds - and no, you don't need to read German.

You'll find some interresting facts, for instance, the antipode of the center of Australia is right in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.

Seems Australia acts like a counterweight. ; )

The antipode of the center of Africa is right in the middle of the Pacific Ocean.

The world seems to count on counterweights...

Though I feel a little pity for the Philippines... who has to counterbalance the entire South America
