Default Focus on the jewel handler

If you're going to keep the jewel collecting process the same (click on jewel, enter a code), then can I request that you set the focus onLoad to the text input box where you type in the code? It would save a click, and that makes me happy.

I saw that you just added the focus. Thanks for that.

I also meant to mention that you could throw in:

Code:
<META **********="CACHE-CONTROL" CONTENT="NO-CACHE">
<META **********="PRAGMA" CONTENT="NO-CACHE">
to keep the page from caching. Not a biggie, but it would get around the problem of people seeing the same code as the last jewel they found.

I've been working on this, but it doesn't seem to be doing the job. It might be that the image itself is getting cached, but I'm not sure how to force a fresh image.

Ahh, wait. I have an idea...

A timestamp in the query string works pretty well in most cases.

That's too easy. I did a mod_rewrite that will take "verifyimage12345.png" (where 12345 is a random number) and actually pull the correct image file every time. The GE browser thinks it's a new image, so the cache is useless.

This should help a bit of the griping about the new jewel system...

Yes it works better now still takes longer but just doesn't seem as annoying.
