Nokras had a great suggestion that I need some help with. He thought that we should assign a value to each city to describe what it is best at.
For example, some labels could be "high tech", "industrial", "agricultural", etc. Then, you will need to have a certain number of different kinds of cities to be able to build certain items. For example, you might need to have one "high tech" city and two "industrial" cities to be able to build a nuke. Any thoughts on labels and which cities might get what? |

tokyo, new york, london = high tech
united states south = agricultural china = industrial "Agricultural" is going to be a kinda tough city label to work out, because most agricultural places are not cities, so few cities will fall under this label. Maybe cities that are surrounded by predominantly rural areas and not incredibly developed could be label "agricultural." (like Atlanta, Georgia) |
