I've been fooling with the army names, and I think I've found something that Mick needs to fix ASAP.
I can put new placemarks in my Army names! F</name><Placemark><visibility>1</visibility><name>Google Headquarters</name><Point><coordinates>-122.0839,37.4219,0</coordinates></Point></Placemark><name>Second Army That's not good. Sorry for the many times you loaded today and got some invalid parsing error!, my bad Last edited by araT; 09-08-2005 at 02:42 AM. Reason: Requested by user |

Here's an example. Do this, and refresh your GECities KML file: Rename any visible army to the following: F</name><Placemark><visibility>1</visibility><name>GoogleHQ</name><Point><coordinates>-122.0839,37.4219,0</coordinates></Point></Placemark><name>Some army name This will add a point placemark to the map at GoogleHQ. For everyone who does this, there will be another point at GoogleHQ. It'll be fun

I've decided not to deal with you any more.
You're strange, harrassing, and just plain annoying. Please don't PM me, I haven't put you on my ignore list yet, but I'm going to very very soon. |

Would never had thought of that. But you said this could be dangerous for the server? So its better if I change my name back to normal? |

LOL!
Nice. Yeah, I saw the overlay and thought I was looking at a case of good SQL injection, and instead it's XML injection. ;-) Brilliant. Good work! Man, you could do ANYTHING with this. LOL edit: How about parking cotton and oil icons in the field to reserve the space for yourself for later? Breakable, but it'd discourage squatters. ;-) Last edited by rasqual; 09-08-2005 at 01:06 AM. |

thanks, I was thinking it'd be fun to put different images over your cities, IE, I could put a "YOU SUCK, DON"T BOTHER" image over cape town. it'd be fun, and kinda easy.

Still chuckling as I look at the overlay. I was down-space-down-space-down-space'ing like mad in the armies to find the culprit. I coulda just pulled up the thread instead. ;-)
