This is a discussion thread for the following file:
Mount Everest - Tibet A nice look at the largest mountain on the planet. The summit ridge of the mountain marks the border between Nepal and Tibet, but the summit itself is in Tibet.

The mountain is both Nepal (Northern part) and Tibet (Southern part) since the border follows the range.
The summit must be considered on the border line. Although I doubt that border patrol officers check you out in these heights
