Default What are your favorites?

What are your favorite...

* Websites?
* Movies (of all time)?
* Sports and teams?
* Travel destinations?

As for me...

Websites - I keep a blog on Livejournal. I also like Dustin's Days Page for spoilers on the mind-melt soap opera known as Days of Our Lives. And, I obviously love any site of Mickey's.

Movies - Gone with the Wind, Steel Magnolias, Sweet Home Alabama, Disney movies including The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Finding Nemo and Beauty & The Beast, The American President, Grease...too many to list, really

Sports and Teams -
Football - University of Georgia Bulldogs, Atlanta Falcons & Green Bay Packers
Baseball - Atlanta Braves
NASCAR - I like several drivers, but Little E (Earnhardt Jr) is my fave

Travel Destinations
Florida panhandle - the beach of South Walton
The mountains of North GA and North Carolina
France - I have been to Mont St. Michelle, Paris and Nice
England - the weather was poor, but I enjoyed London and want to go back

I would love to travel to New Zealand and Australia for an extended vacation. Would also love to visit Africa on a photo safari and also a mission trip. Eager to get back to Europe some day. I want to visit Germany, Ireland and Switzerland in particular. Definitely want to return to England and France.

And, I'd love to visit all 50 US states some day.

Favorite Websites:
In no particular order: BBC, GEH, Skoopy, iLounge, Engadget.

Movies:
Anything by Martin Scorcese, the Coen Brothers and Quentin Tarantino

Sports:
Soccer, but only Champions League and World Cup, tennis

Travel:
I love visiting cities; NYC, London, Barcelona, Sydney and Amsterdam are the best. I visited all but two (Alaska and Hawaii) of the 50 US states: I liked the four corners region best for its grandeur, the East Coast cities for their culture. I would love to spend a week or three in Tuscany some day.

Alright, I'll bite.

Websites
Well, this one and CGR eat up most of my time. I love Bloglines, although it's really the syndicated content that I like - Bloglines just streamlines it nicely. I also check out ESPN, Fark, AccuWeather, SitePoint and various news sites.

Movies
Mostly stupid movies - Tommy Boy, Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore. I never have been a huge movie fan, and my two-year-old has limited that even more.

Sports
Football - University of Michigan, Atlanta Falcons, Detroit Lions
Hockey! - Detroit Red Wings

Travel Destinations
I've yet to travel outside of North America. However, I've been to about 45 of the 50 states, so I've gotten around the country pretty well. Kelly's list was pretty good, so I'll just go where she tells me to go.

Now with GAMES, so even if you can't be the best at GEWar, maybe you can set some highscores.

Websites
Except GoogleHacks?
Well Digital Photography Greece is one of my Favourites. Along that road, I also watch DP Review. I follow MLB.com with great interest, and my local Baseball Club webpage Milon Baseball Club Athens. In general, any site that has to do with baseball and photography

Movies
Anything from Quentin Tarrantino, Braveheart (I know the lines by heart), Dogville, and many many more (I have more than 600 movies at home and still ripping)

Sports
Soccer - Panionios FC (my local club), Barcelona FC
Basketball - Panionios BC (yes you guessed it), Barcelona, Atlanta Hawks
Baseball - Atlanta Braves, Milon Baseball Club Athens
I also love volleyball, tennis and Rugby Union.

Travel Destinations
Except almost everywhere in Greece (you'll be amazed of the non popular places - mostly the mountains), I loved the cities of Nara and Kyoto in Japan as well as the European cities of Prague, Amsterdam and London (cause I spent 4 years of my student life there). I also loved Venice (the perfect place for a honeymoon)
