Default City Auction – Cape Town

I’ll take bids for 6 hours from now.
Highest bidder can PM me and I’ll vacate the city at an agreed moment. I’ll also throw in 10,000 troops to help defend after I leave.

No reserve, 1 geo may be all it takes.

Obviously void if I lose the city before then

More info from my Financial page:

Diamond Income

Bonus! You are receiving 1,053.70 carats per day from owning Cape Town, which brings in around 295.04 Geos per day.

lol, The 10,000 troops army alone is worth 750 geos. Every hour you have the city you can buy almost 200 troops.

It is a lot so I'm sure you'll find someone. But I've been following the bonus cities and they get attacked a little too much for my taste.

Actually, The attacks seems to just changed. Freakbarry lost 50,000 to my 17k. I wouldn't have started the auction had I know how easy it would be to hold the cities.

Another criteria: Bidders have to send an army to occupy the city. I won't hold it indefinitely. One hour grace past the 6 hours auction deadline.

You should hurry. If Big Bug finds out the positive sides of Cape Town, you won't have anything to sell.

That's unfortunate, since it will take me roughly 11 hours to get there

Not that I'm thinking I'll win with a bid of 1.6 Geos or anything, just saying...

This auction process is a bit more complex because of the travel time, especially if a huge army is likely to take the city before I can transfer it.
I guess I should have had anyone interested to come to the city first.

You should have them come to the city with 3 armies of 100 troops.

You'll kill two of them, just to make sure they're peaceful.

Then, you proceed with the Auction.

That's a great idea. I will use that once the current threat of Freaky Bug has abated.

I'm postponing the auction until I can use Stanley's idea of sending three armies.

Do we know what the maximum travel time to anywhere on the globe is?
