This is the top 100 metrolpolitan area populations according to wikipedia, first notable absentee from the game is Mumbai (Bombay) India which is the 5th most populated metro in the world!

Mumbai, India - 19,470,000

Calcutta, India - 14,450,000

Nagoya, Japan - 8,760,000 (don't know where it is could be too close to another city)

Chongqing, China - 7,480,000

Chennai, India - 6,850,000

Shenyand, China - 6,490,000

Lahore, Pakistan - 6,310,000

Tianjin, China - 6,300,000

That's all the top 50 not in the game, then some other notables are;

Algiers, Algeria - 5,520,000

Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam - 5,050,000

Yangon (Rangoon), Myanmar (Burma) - 4,480,000

Ibadan, Nigeria - 4,360,000

And lots more Chinese and Indian cities for the SE Asian area!

No hurry, it's not in my area...

I'd like to chuck more Aussie ones in - but that really about it for city sizes, thanks.

36 Mill!!!!!

Bloody hell, there's nearly double the australian population in just one city!!!!

Isn't that an amalgamated total of a couple of cities with no real borders though???? Tokyo/Yokohama?

I believe it's the megacity from Tokyo to Osaka.

Nagoya is between Tokyo and Osaka (pretty close to Osaka actually), so yeah it's a bit too much of a squeeze.

Edit: And thanks for posting Algiers - I was going to request it but forgot it. I didn't think it was that big of a city.

I'll try to get to these soon, but in the future, please put each seperate city request in an individual post. It makes it easier for Mickey and I to track which ones we've addressed.

well, in this case you can see yokohama as the biggest suburb of the world, with a total value of 3.5 million (suburb as big as berlin). tokyo alone owend 3 suburbs with a value over 1 million.
tokyo is the biggest city in the world. with all suburbs there are about 36 million people in there.
