Default Stingy Mines

Your mine will automatically give you approximately 17 carats worth of diamonds every day.

We have calculated that the mine will be out of diamonds in approximately 18 days, 0 hours and 0 minutes.

I have had about 5 really bad mines/wells in a row! I've got a cotton field that is giving me 14 ponds of cotton per day! 1.12 Geos per day!

Probably just bad luck but bloody frustrating.

Keep the faith!!!

Idea?

One time investment in a geologist, or a geology class, and after that your mines improve?

i like that idea timmetie, pay a little extra to ensure you get a good mine/well instead of chancing getting ripped on junk.

I've had the same problem recently.

The last 2 mines I've dug yield 14 and 16 carats and last for 10 and 8 days, respectively.

Believe me, it can be worse. I only have a few mines and two of them will yield 20 and 25 Geos during their whole lifetime.

This could be extremely demoralizing whenever you are setting your first mines. Could they at least cover the costs (50 Geos)?

That would be nice.

I can't promise that, as the rates change quite often. However, I just doubled the minimum values (both production rate and duration) for all three resources, so that should make your typical ones a bit better.

same here:

oil well 16 barrels a day and lasts a month (1.92 Geos per day)
Diamind mine 35 Carats a day and lasts 3.5 days (9.80 Geos per day)

At least my cotton field is good but lasts far too long - 92 pounds per day (7.36 Geos per day) but lasts until Dec 2nd. I would have preferred 200pounds per day but only a third of the time.
