Default Armies Enroute to a City

When my armies arrive to any of my cities with the enemy armies at the same time, my armies stay outside the city and I have to command them to move in...

Now, it happens whether there are enemy armies or not...

They should move in automatically after about five minutes or so. Do they stay out there indefinately?

Why should they wait?

They used to enter right away...

I did not wait to see what will happen and gave me comand...

Technically, they didn't. However, due to the server slowdown we've been experiencing, I've slowed down the rate at which that sort of stuff is automatically recalculated. They still should rarely have to wait more than two minutes, and never more than seven minutes.

Server slow... the answer ot other issues. This is good to know and no complaints from me.
