Im having troubles getting my jewel from Marseille, France . I've deleted and re-downloaded my jewel KML file and it didn't fix it......any suggestions?

If you are using the search field in Google Earth, it will take you to Northern France. The actual location of Marseille is in Southern France. The easiest way to tell where the jewel is located is by using the GE War Cities file. If you have downloaded the file, be sure that you have the box next to it checked so that you see all the polygons of the GE War cities. If you zoom out, you will be able to see the polygon for Marseille in Southern France (currently owned by Corporal).

If you zoom in on the center of that polygon, you should get your jewel.

There are several other cities that have this same issue. I recommend keeping the cities file loaded while you are jewel hunting so that you can find the correct location of all the cities.

or you could put a full stop after the name

Marseille, France

will take you to fields etc... but

Marseille, France.

will take you to the jewel
