Don't start with a bonus city from a player who's been playing hard since the reset.
Bonus cities give a lot of money. He's been investing all in riyadh, and he owns lots of other cities.
Start with a lower one and work your way up.
You can do it.

Your first hit shouldn't be on a bonus city that has been held by the same player since the reset and who is in one of the most powerful alliances.
