I like Everest.
The blackish one is a feature. It is a very grand mountain. It collected from Everest to ShishaPangma. Please find a favorite mountain. Eight sousander series |

Hi Koshi, great listings.
Small problem is that you have incorrectly named one of the peaks (Lhotse should be 27° 58' N; 86° 56' E), guess this may affect others. http://www.explorersweb.com/webtv/ro...ial-routes.jpg |

Ok your Everest is also my Everest. But I localize the summit .. but Google Earth say 8850m but no 8850m (300m under).
The altitude of changtze near Everest is 7148m with Google Earth and the real altitude (for me) is near 7500m. (300m upper) many internet sites say 7500m ???? :???: like http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Changtse 7583 m In the same are The cho oyu 8m (A 8100m) With goggle earth :7670m (440 under) The Shishapangma mountain with Google Eath 7750m and this mountain is a 8013... Strange |

i dont think that google is making mountains same as real one's.
want proof? look at the picture mt everest, and check in google earth, results will surprise you. come on, who can design all the mountains of earth on computer in such a short time. it takes a long time to make unreal mountains for video games, then how come google made real ones in such a short time. 3d mountains can look "similar" not same. |
