Default using file attachments?

if i download the attachments that people have with the .dmz suffix how do i use these?

i'm sorry if this has been posted a zillion times before but i couldn't find it quickly when i looked

The only file extensions you should see are .kmz, .kml & .eta - all of those will open with google earth, if there is another kind of extension the poster has stuffed up, just ignore it...

Just out of curiosity, where is this file? i'll check it out

it takes you to a location without actually setting a placemark there, .eta's cant be made anymore but used to be used with earlier versions of GE and Keyhole, so you still see them around from time to time.
