HI all, very good site, if I ever manage to get thoses very interesting places to work.....

(By the way im french so might not be type good sorry ..

)

None off the files works, its say that I dont have the right protocol

For instance, If I dl the Katrina storm, try both way, open & save on disk, then got this message for any file that I tried ''fetch of '''blabla''' 080505-__Montage_image_of_Katrina_storm_track_[26561].kmz failed Unsupported protocol ???

Can anyone help me here, kind of lost...

Welcome Lerebel, we hope you enjoy GEH. It sounds like the kmz file is trying to open in your browser. Have you downloaded and installed Google Earth? If not, go here - http://earth.google.com/ and download, then install.

If you do have GEarth installed, have you tried File-->Open from GEarth?

If it works that way, you will need to tell Windows to use GEarth to open kmz files.
